Es lässt sich sehr einfach lesen, das fand ich sehr angenehm.Auch die Geschichten - Hintergrundgeschichten - der einzelnen Charaktere sind wirklich sehr schön und ausführlich beschrieben, aber ich hatte leider das Gefühl das verliert sich dann im Laufe der ganzen Geschichte ein wenig. Da hätte man deutlich mehr draus machen können (sollen).Die ein oder andere Anspielung im Buch dürfte so mancher Gleek durchaus erkennen/verstehen.

Ich habe dieses Buch gelesen, weil es von Chris Colfer ist. Es ist aber auf keinen Fall mit der "Land of Stories"-Reihe zu vergleichen. Es ist kein Märchen, sondern beschreibt eine außergewöhnliche Reise von vier Freunden, denen sich überraschend ihr absolutes Idol aus einer von ihnen heiß geliebten Fernsehserie anschließt. Es ist gut geschrieben, wie jedes Buch von Chris Colfer und ich habe das Gefühl, dass es ein wenig biographisch ist. Chris Colfer wurde durch "Glee" ein großer Star, über den es selber tausende von Fanfictions gibt und der mit hundertprozentiger Sicherheit vieles von dem was "Cash Carter" (gleiche Initialen = Hallo !) in diesem Buch beschreibt selbst mit seinen Fans erlebt hat.Das Buch hat mich nachdenklich, zum Teil traurig (Achtung Spoiler, da trauriges Ende = ich musste weinen), aber auch glücklich gemacht. ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut.Es ist übrigens definitiv kein Buch für unter 12 jährige.
